Green Building

We strive to incorporate green building principles into our operation and benchmark our performance against the good practices in the industry. Dah Sing Financial Centre was awarded the highest Platinum rating in the BEAM Plus for Existing Buildings in 2016. Since then, we have continued to undertake a variety of enhancement initiatives in respect of energy efficiency, water conservation, waste management, indoor air quality, etc.

Energy Saving

Recognizing the fact that energy use represents one of the major sources of carbon emission, we have proactively upgraded two of the air-cooled central chillers of the property with water-cooled ones (which are of higher energy efficiency), and have replaced current lightings with LED lights.

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)

To safeguard tenants’ health and safety, we regularly evaluate the IAQ of the property against essential parameters. Through various proactive measures including Nano-Fotocide treatment in the primary air-handling units on all office floors, we have achieved Excellent Class IAQ for the building since 2012.

Waste Management

Apart from our on-going effort on collection of paper, plastic, aluminum cans and glass bottles, etc. for recycling, we also encourage tenants to reduce the use of paper hand towels by installing hand dryers in lavatories. In addition, we recycle plastic umbrella bags and provide umbrella drying racks as an alternative.
